We Have Been Flocked!!

Dear Flockers,
What a joyous morning it was! My husband spotted them first and brought me out to the front yard. I would never have guessed 25 flamingos! Thank you for doing this for cancer. I have only 2 more chemo treatments left ... in this past year, I have realized it is these sweet gestures of love that provide comfort and give strength to carry through the hard treatment. Thank you and Bless you!

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

We were honored to join others in American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer held this past Sunday at Kroger Field. The event had 750 walkers and raised $85,000 to help those facing breast cancer.

Funds raised will help provide breakthrough breast cancer research, as well as free rides to chemo and places to stay near hospitals, a live 24/7 cancer helpline, and so much more.

This event holds a special meaning to one of our very own who is celebrating her 8th year as a breast cancer survivor.

You Have Been Flocked!

Dear Flockers,

Thank You!

You have been flocked! Thank you for all your hard work fighting the scourge of cancer while at the same time bringing smiles and joy to a lot of terrific people. You helped bring a moment of joy to a friend whose mother’s cancer had returned as he struggled to find a way to help her. You helped a friend who was 5 years cancer free celebrate her birthday. You helped celebrate friendship and support. You brought a much-needed smile to a friend undergoing chemo treatments. You helped celebrate a graduation and a retirement. You helped honor some wonderful doctors who give so much to their patients every day.

Today is the day to celebrate each of you and your mission. A donation is being made to DanceBlue in your honor.

All the best pink ninjas!
